This feat creates a shield around the scholar that absorbs damage from most mundane attacks. The caster uses his own life force to summon the field, reducing his constitution by 4. However, the shield provides a buffer versus damage equal to 40 hit points plus 2 per character level. The duration of this effect is 15 rounds. This feat has a 180 second cool down and activation expends one use of the Arcane Study Masterfeat.
